Just finished shopping during their Boxing Day sale. Found a satire political poster for a friend that I thought was funny and knew he would like. I am not a political person, and don’t have enough knowledge in the department to debate, so I make a habit of not discussing it, however, the two ladies that were ringing me through thought it was professional and appropriate to haze me for my purchase in front of a massive line of people.
“Trump? Really? You just don’t like democracy?”, “well at least it’s no longer hanging in our store”, “this friend you’re purchasing it for, how good of a friend is he really?”, “I should really stop, what do they say? Don’t discuss sex, politics, and something else in the workplace?”.
Again, I am not one to flaunt my political views, but I also don’t owe an explanation to anyone, let alone should I have to sit there and be embarrassed in front of multiple staff and customers.
Completely unprofessional, and I hope that the elderly ladies who thought this was okay, learn some better manners in regard to their customer service.
