S. Blanckensee & Sons sterling creamer and sugar
Sterling silver sugar bowl and creamer circa 1920 by S. Blanckensee & Sons. Very art deco and modern at the same time with its clean lines and shape. Sugar measures 6 5/8″ wide and 4″ tall. Creamer measures 5″ wide and 3 1/2″ tall. Total weight of both pieces is 319 grams. Use marks pretty much all over the surface but no dings or dents. Four hallmarks including an anchor, a lion, and a “S.” Dates to the 1920s.
